'RELICS: A New World Rises’ is the brainchild of Perth duo Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler, mates from high school who shared a childhood love of LEGO®.

After winning the second season of Channel 9’s smash hit reality competition show LEGO® Masters in 2020, they were commissioned by WA arts organisation FORM to create an exhibition at The Goods Shed gallery in Perth. The only brief was to explore the bounds of their imagination. With a totally blank canvas, they set out to push beyond the conventional limitations of storytelling with LEGO®. The resultant exhibition, titled ‘RELICS: Bricks of the New World’ ran from February to May in 2021 and amassed an attendance of nearly 50,000 people.
